MTMET - Mountain Meteorology Lab

Building 837 has been an extension of the classroom and instrumentation labs at the University of Utah campus for a number of years.
Located at the mouth of Red Butte Canyon, U lot 74, and Red Butte Amphitheatre; MTMET is a testbed for collaborative research testing across multiple faculty and external data providers.
The Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ) owns and operates a Photochemical Assessment Monitoring Stations (PAMS) called 'Red Butte' at this location.
Salt Lake County (SLCO) operates precipitation monitoring equipment for their watershed program.

The tools below continue to evolve as research needs grow and new technologies and questions are studied.
